83-90A & 83-90B Cloth Coating Solution


Product Description


Cloth Coating Solution 83-90
parts A & B are a water-based, non-flammable system for use with release cloth. The mixed product has a pot life of 4 - 6 hours.

Part A & B emulsions may generate small amounts of hydrogen gas during storage. Vent containers weekly to relieve the pressure. Do not smoke or allow other sources of ignition near open containers. Avoid contact with strong acids, bases, or oxidizing agents. Store away from sources of heat and keep from freezing.

Application

Mix each container well before using and strain to remove particles if present. Add 1 part by volume of 83-90B catalyst to 36 parts 83-90A coating with mild stirring. Mix only enough material for use in four hours. Typical nylon fabric for release cloth uses one gallon of mix per 100 yards of 45" fabric.

Apply by dipping fabric in mix and squeezing off the excess. Material can be cleaned up with tap water.
