Gray Envirotech Primer is a LOW STYRENE and LOW VOC Primer Gel
Coat. It provides the ideal surface for re-coating with various
types of single or multicolored finishes. Made with a unique blend
of resins and fillers, it will accept paints, enamels, lacquers,
polyester coatings, epoxy finishes, and even wood stains. Products
coated with Primer Gel Coat may even be laminated ahead of time,
stored and finished at a later date as required.

Application
5794E90155
Low VOC Primer Gel Coat is formulated for Spray application
as supplied. Thinning is not generally recommended. For Catalization
use MEKP @ 2% for gel time of 10 – 12 minutes at 77º
F. Do not catalyze at levels below 1% or above 3% as this may cause
gel coat defects. Apply in several thin overlapping coats rather
than a single thick coat. This will help avoid sagging, porosity,
solvent entrapment and other defects. Make sure the air pressure
is adjusted properly, and that the spray gun and lines are free
of solvent, water, and oil. Apply to a thickness of 18-22 mils wet
in a minimum of four passes. Brush application is not recommended.
•
Store containers indoors or under cover.
• Normal storage area temperature should be 65º F.
- 80º F.
• Use only original containers full and sealed.
• Keep containers away from heating pipes or radiators.
• Use a "first-in-first-out" system of stock rotation
to ensure use within 90 day period.
